In winter Serfaus is the most attractive destination in the Alps because of the combined skiing region Seraus-Fiss-Ladis. This region in the upper Inntal (valley) is considered the big stage of winter tourism and defined by the term “Tyrol’s ski dimension” at about 3,000 m above the sea level. It offers a huge variety and a perfect programme when compared to other skiing regions. More than 204km of slopes and 70 cable cars and lifts of the most modern comfort, 118.9km of ski trails, 10km toboggan runs…are there to be used. The only thing to be criticised it the name “ski dimension” Its suggests that the stage of winter is only there for skiers which is not true. There are numerous free ride slopes and two fun parks for snowboarders. Fans of winter fun sports will be served perfectly. Fun sports in winter
From skidoo to snow bike. From Segway to Airboard, Snow-Scooter, Fisser Flyer or Tubes - in skiing resort Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis you have the most diverse opportunities in the Alps to try out any winter sport.
At the Family Park Serfaus on Komperdell you can speed down the hill if you are brave enough doing snow tubing in a special 150 m tubular track. Depending on snow quality, you can achieve up to 40 km/h top speed. Steering is impossible. The fun is pre-programmed.
You can also use the Segway to go out in winter. The obstacle-parcours in Fiss are right-turns and left-turns, small and great radii, ground unevenness and steep slope for a real challenge. Furthermore, there are daily guided trekking tours if the ground and weather is favourable.
Also the Fisser Flyer, the Serfauser Sauser and the Skyswing are not only summer highlights: with over 80 km/h you speed down Möseralm, experience weightlessness for a short moment or float in 90 m height above the skiers.
Cross-country skiing in Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis
Perfectly prepared tracks, hard but gripping snow. First two long steps, then a powerful push with the sticks. Whether classic or skating, on the large number of slopes from Serfaus, Fiss and Ladis both the gentle as well as the ambitious cross-country skiers find their right terrain. The tracks at Komperdell, which are on about 2000 m, offer perfect conditions right into April for those who simply cannot get enough of the sport..

Winter hiking in Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis
Exercise in the seclusion of the mountains, clear, healthy mountain air. Relaxing and refuel in the fairytale winter landscape. Hiking is no longer a pure summer sport - in Serfaus you can also hike on well prepared hiking routes - with or without hiking boots!
We can specifically recommend the Panorama Enjoyment Route, which leads from the mountain station Serfaus to mountain station Fiss without great differences in height. On the wide, always on cleared paths, there are many delightful surprises for the winter hiker: comfortable deckchairs, the hammock village, rustic huts and the enjoyment pavilion. If you don't want to exert yourself too much, you can always take the Komperdell railway, Sunline, Waldbahn and Möseralmbahn at one of the stations to get back into the valley.
And for the real snowshoe fans, the skiing school in Serfaus offers guided snowshoe hikes which takes you into snow covered forests, across wintry meadows and pastures right into untouched mountain nature.
